How Showfield works

Running a show

For organizers

    Create your event

    Name, venue, date, entry fee, and the classes cars compete in. Nothing is public until you hit Publish.

    Connect payouts

    Link your bank account through Stripe in about five minutes. Entry fees deposit straight to you — Showfield never holds your money. Skip this and entrants simply pay cash at the gate instead.

    Set up judging

    Start from our scorecard template or build your own criteria with custom weights. Add judges by name — each gets a 4-digit PIN, no accounts or app downloads.

    Publish and share

    Your event gets a public page with online registration. Share the link; it also appears in Showfield's Find-a-show search.

  5. 5

    Show day

    Check cars in from the entries roster, print dash cards with people's choice QR codes, open voting, and watch the live leaderboard reorder itself as scorecards land.

  6. 6

    Announce winners

    One click publishes final standings and the people's choice tally to a public results page you can share.

Showing a car

For entrants

    Register in about two minutes

    Find the show, pick your class, tell us about your car, and add a photo — it goes on your dash card and voting page. No account required.

  2. 2

    Pay online or at the gate

    If the show takes online payment you'll check out securely with a card; otherwise bring the entry fee to the show.

  3. 3

    Get your car number

    It's on your confirmation screen instantly. Give your name or number at check-in, put your dash card on the dash, and you're in the show.

  4. 4

    Get judged, check results

    Judges score your car during the show. If the organizer publishes results, you'll see final standings — and how the people's choice vote went.

Scoring the field

For judges

    Sign in with a code and PIN

    The organizer gives you the event code and your PIN. Go to showfield.app/judge on your phone — no account, nothing to install.

  2. 2

    Work the queue

    Every paid entry is listed with its car number and class. Cars you've scored drop to the bottom, so you always know what's left.

  3. 3

    Slide, submit, next car

    Big 1–10 sliders for each criterion with the weighted total updating live. Submit and the leaderboard updates instantly. Made a mistake? Reopen the car and adjust — your scorecard is replaced, never doubled.

People's choice

For spectators

    Scan any dash card

    Every car's dash card has a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera — the car's page opens in your browser.

  2. 2

    One tap to vote

    Hit the big vote button. One vote per device — voting for a different car later moves your vote, so pick your favorite as you go.

  3. 3

    Browse the field

    See every car in the show with photos, and change your vote any time until the organizer closes voting.

What it costs

  • Organizers pay nothing. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no per-event fee. You keep 100% of your entry price.
  • Entrants pay a small service fee added at online checkout — $2.78 plus 4.2% of the entry fee, shown up front before they pay. That's how Showfield keeps the lights on. Cash-at-the-gate entries have no service fee.
  • Money goes straight to you. Payments are processed by Stripe and entry fees transfer directly to the organizer's bank account.
